THE MISSIONS OF MEDTECH IN FRANCE
Founded in 2013, MedTech in France stemmed from the need
to unite French Medtech CEOs around a common project:
to bring out French champions in medical technologies.
We bring together sixty of the finest French MedTechs,
from e-health to surgical robotics,telemedicine,
optical technologies, wound healing or even medical imaging.
MedTech in France is committed to working alongside them
on a daily basis.

THE MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY SECTOR
Medical technologies are devices or services used
for the prevention, diagnosis or treatment of a disease
or condition. They can be used in the hospital or the office and are a true extension of the hands and minds
of caregivers, helping to detect, measure, restore, correct or whichever positive action is needed for patient care.
There are 500,000 medical devices (MD) in Europe whose placing on the market is strictly regulated thanks
to the Medical Device Regulation (CE mark).
